Emma Gregg
Emma been a full-time travel journalist for over 20 years, with a career stretching from The Gambia to Sussex. In the Gambia, learning from local mentors, she witnessed first-hand what a positive difference tourism can make to communities, habitats and ecosystems. Ever since then, she has made it her mission to write about deserving destinations in a responsible, sensitive way. The travel industry is increasingly aware of its environmental and social responsibilities, but Emma knows that some trips are far kinder to people and the planet than others, and aims to help travellers choose wisely and well. Emma firmly believes that long-haul ecotourism can be overwhelmingly positive, funding conservation and empowering disadvantaged communities, whilst also conscious of the environmental impact of flying.
