The Inspire Global Media Awards recognise journalists, broadcasters, photographers, creators and media organisations whose work inspires purposeful travel, deepens understanding and demonstrates tourism’s potential to create meaningful positive impact.
Now entering their fifth year, the Awards celebrate trusted human storytelling across written journalism, broadcast, video, audio, books, photography and independent digital media.
The Awards encompass consumer and travel trade media, commissioned and self-published work, and stories from across the world.
Entries are considered through three core pillars:

🌱 IMPACT – creating measurable positive outcomes for communities, culture, wildlife, or the environment
📚 INFORM – deepening understanding through authentic and insightful storytelling
Inspire Global Media Awards 2027
Entries for the 2027 Awards open on 30 November 2026.
The full categories, eligibility criteria, entry process and key dates will be published when submissions open.
The Awards ceremony takes place on Monday, 19 April 2027 in London, bringing together journalists, creators and travel industry partners for an evening of recognition, conversation and connection.
